makeup is one of the primary comedogenic offenders, so it's important that your makeup is acne-safe. blushes and bronzers, especially, often use red pigments that are highly comedogenic, so sticking with high-quality mineral makeup is your best bet.

please note that not all of alima pure's products are acne-safe. as a general rule, their loose powder products (foundation, powder, blush) are safe, and their pressed/liquid versions are not.
removing your makeup at the end of the day (even acne-safe makeup) is one of the most important parts of keeping clear. while mineral makeup is great for staying put all day, it can be difficult to wash off -- especially if you are using a more gentle, moisturizing face wash, like our green tea cleanser.
